Lent Giving and Advocacy Drives

We are collecting donations for the Center for Food Action and Families for Families this Lent.

cENTER FOR FOOD ACTION

We are collecting Easter treats all month to make Easter baskets for the Center for Food Action. Requested donations include raisins, nuts, dried fruit, 100% juice boxes, granola bars, small pop-top canned fruit, individual bags of crackers, and individually wrapped candy. We will assemble the baskets after worship on March 26.

Families for families

We will be collecting cleaning supplies all month to benefit Families for Families families. They are requesting items such as disinfecting wipes, all-purpose cleaner, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponges, and glass cleaner. We are also a “public” drop-off site for this, so there will be a crate outside the church as well as one in the narthex. These items are important because they are not covered by SNAP.
